Fergus Falls Coach Risbrudt Resigns - Valley News Live - KVLY/KXJB - Fargo/Grand Forks

Fergus Falls head coach and longtime Hillcrest Lutheran coach Richard Risbrudt announced his retirement today. He'll step down as coach but remain a teacher at Fergus Falls High.  

He concludes an impressive career spanning 35 years of coaching (27 at Hillcrest Lutheran, 8 at Fergus Falls), 202 wins, and a state title in 2001.

There is no word on a potential replacement; the Fergus Falls school board will decide how they want to handle the vacancy in two weeks.
