Last season as the Vikings struggled to finish 3 and 13, there were grumblings that their team wasn't equipped to keep up with the new pass-heavy ways of the NFL. Well, regardless of the QB play, any team with Adrian Peterson on it can run when it wants, as much as it wants.
Adrian Peterson had another monster game yesterday, rushing for 171 yards on 27 carries and a 61 yard TD, this was his third straight game with a 60-yard gain or longer. Peterson leads the league in rushing with over 1,100 yards and is becoming a serious candidate for MVP.
Just ten and a half months after his reconstructive knee surgery, Peterson admits he's still not 100 percent. The Vikings have a bye week this week, and the running back says he plans on coming back even stronger for the Vikings' November 25th matchup at Chicago.
