Bragging Rights on the Line: NDSU Holds Tailgating Contest

  The North Dakota State University athletic department is sponsoring a tailgating contest prior to this weekend's football game with South Dakota State.

  The seventh annual tailgating extravaganza will run Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the west parking lot of the Fargodome.

  Prizes will be awarded for best tailgating setup, best food, best custom vehicle, Bison pride award and fan favorites. The public will vote on the winners, which will be announced at halftime.

  Deadline for entry is Thursday.

  The NDSU Bison and SDSU Jackrabbits are tied for first place in the Missouri Valley Football Conference with 5-1 records. Kickoff is at 2:37 p.m.
