Just after 7:30 PM Saturday, Fergus Falls Police got a call about a threat that had been called in to the store. The employee who took the call says the caller made specific threats towards employees and customers. Exact details on the type of threat is not being released at this time. The store was evacuated, officers did a sweep and found no threat. The store was closed for about two hours and reopened.

Walmart security and the FFPD are working to see if this was an isolated incident. An investigation is underway.

The FFPD would like to stress that no one was hurt, no one was taken hostage and no one was found displaying a weapon in the store.

The Fergus Falls Wal-Mart was evacuated Saturday evening. Multiple law enforcement agencies were called in. The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department says no one was hurt, and that more information is expected to come throughout the evening.
