In the first quarter, Michael Herzog was doing what he does best, scoring on a two yard run -- 6-0, Detroit Lakes.

In the next possession, Herzog rolled right and got the screen pass to Stephen Erb, who turned on the jets as he went 36 yards for the touchdown, which, after a two point conversion, made it 14-0, Lakers.

Then, early in the second quarter, Herzog dropped back and hit Kirk McLeod right up the seam for a 34 yard touchdown reception -- 20-0 Lakers.
