
UND's new coach Travis Brewster's had his first game taking on Bemidji State in their exhibition opener.
In the first half, UND was up four when Nicole smart took it away from Bemidji State's Lee Morgan and brought it the other way for the lay-up. Smart led all scorers with 20 points.
Later in the half, UND's lead was down to one. Bemidji State's Emily Reichart made a drive and kicked it to Kate Warmack for the short baseline jumper. The East Grand Forks native gave the Beavers a one point lead.
However, UND answered right back when Brianna Williams on the wing found Cy'erra Mills in the corner for three to put the home team back on top, and they stay there. UND wins 76-67.
