The Bison Women are the opening act in today's exhibition opener at the Bison Sports Arena taking on Minnesota Crookston.

Starting in the first half, senior Katie Birkel showed no signs of rust -- she drove and hit the pull up jumper. Crookston got the rebound and pushed the ball up the floor, and following a pass to Jaya Perkins, the Golden Eagles were up 15-11.

Bison moved well without the ball; Dani Degagne found a cutting Birkel for the lay in, and at half time, the Bison were leading 34-30.
