Woman Seriously Hurt in Car-Pedestrian Accident

A woman is being treated for life-threatening injuries this morning after being hit by a car late last night. It happened in the 3900 block of 32nd Avenue South around midnight.

Police say the area has street lights, but the woman was trying to cross in an area where there wasn't a crosswalk. Officers say they may need to be out at the scene again Thursday morning to reconstruct the crash.
