The Dragons Men's basketball team began their exhibition season tonight by hosting Northwestern College. It'll be a new look for MSUM team this year as the roster only features three returning players.
The Dragons would start in the post early on when senior Alex Novak, the NSIC North preseason player of the year, sinks a shot with left hand hook for two of his eleven points. Novak also had 13 rebounds.
Then the 3-point barrage started for Anthony Tucker, the transfer from Winona State. Tucker was 5-8 from deep, and finished with a game high 19 points. For a while, Tucker was outscoring Northwestern by himself, and his last 3 made it 24-10 for MSUM.
Dragons cruised to a win, 78 to 45.
