Man Arrested in Overnight Break-In and Assault

A man has been arrested after landing two people in the emergency room from an overnight assault. Police got a call of a break-in and assault just after 11:30 Tuesday night at 527 7th Street South in Moorhead.

According to police, Clinton Dean Corry forced his way into the home, showed a knife and attacked three people that were there at the time, one of them was his ex-girlfriend. The 25-year-old man took off in a black pickup, and hit a parked vehicle on the road while fleeing the area.

Corry was arrested just before 3:00 a.m. by the Fargo Police Department. He is in the Cass County jail on charges of Felony Domestic Strangulation, Felony 2nd Degree Assault and violation of an Order for Protection, among other charges.

Two of the victims were transported to the Sanford emergency room for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
