Halloween Ghost Hunt at the Regional Treatment Center

Posted: Updated:

Halloween brings out stories and tales of haunted buildings and ghosts and that can leave sleepless for nights. What if these stories are real? The Valley Today's John Trierweiler spent Tuesday night at the Regional Treatment Center in Fergus Falls with paranormal investigators.

The Regional Treatment Center operated for 119 years and now sits abandoned. Valley News Live invited the Midwest Outer Realm Followers to investigate whether or not all who use to live there have really left.

Back in the 1920's and 1930's the Regional Treatment Center was the premier mental health institution in Minnesota, housing more than 2,000 patients. Many in the area, and those who have visited the now abandoned building, say some patients never checked out.
