Fargo Force Celebrate 5 Years

Posted: Updated:

The Fargo Force will be celebrating their 5 year anniversary as a team Friday night when they take on the Chicago Steel at Scheels Arena.

The players will be wearing commemorative jerseys that they will wear as alternate jerseys for the remainder of the season.

The first 1,000 fans through the door will receive an anniversary puck keychain and there will also be a skate with the force following the game.

The Fargo Force dropped the puck in their inaugural season Thursday, October 30th, 2008 versus the Sioux Falls Stampede.

Fans can begin pre-ordering replica commemorative jerseys at top shelf Friday night while they last. Only a limited number of jerseys will be available for purchase.

Oh by the way... The Valley Today crew will be at the game. Kyle Bosch and Lisa Budeau are big hockey fans.
