Soccer Team Disqualified from State Tourney

A fight after a boys high school soccer playoff game has led to a disqualification from the Minnesota state tournament.

The State High School League disqualified prairie seeds academy from the Class 1A tournament after an investigation of last week's on-field fight found that the team used an ineligible player during the entire season.

After Prairie Seeds Academy defeated Totino-Grace last week, A scuffle involving multiple players broke out and was caught on camera by Channel 12 Sports in Minneapolis.

Prairie Seeds had been scheduled to play Duluth Marshall on Friday, but due to the disqualification, Marshall will now advance to next week's semifinal at the Metrodome.
