Stressed-Out Parents More Likely to Have Obese Children

In tonight's HealthierMe, stressed-out parents more likely to have obese children. Researchers have found that parents with a lot of stress are more likely to head to a fast food restaurant or serve high-calorie convenience foods instead of making a well balanced meal. The study also revealed that Black and Hispanic children, children from single parent homes, and those from financially strapped families were more vulnerable to the effect of stress on their weight.
