Bras on Broadway

Posted: Updated:

If you drive downtown the rest of this month, a pretty unusual decoration may have caught your attention. Bras were strung down the side of the Hotel Donaldson for a good cause.

The new décor is a part of this year's bras on Broadway event, which benefits area women fighting breast cancer. Last year, Bras on Broadway donated more than $102,000 to the American Cancer Society.

In its first six years, the event has brought in over $260,000.

If you'd like to bid on the donated and decorated bras, or just want to join in on the fun, doors open for Bras on Broadway at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 25. The event begins at 7:00.  You are welcome to come as early as 5:00 P.M. for registration.
