Four people are dead and four others wounded after a gunman opened fire at a Wisconsin salon today.Domestic violence may be to blame for the mass shooting. The suspected gunman was found dead at the scene.
Emergency vehicles scrambled Sunday morning.
Witness, Jenny Remshack, says, "We saw all of the cops pulling out their guns and putting on their vests."
Witness, Joe Brent, says, "I saw a girl, prolly in her twenties..holding a paper towel to her neck, because she was bleeding from her neck."
After shots rang out at azana day spa in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Remshack says, "We had seen a woman crawl out and she had rolled to the cops ..a nd they had scooped her up and taken her right to the ambulances and taken her away/"
In the end, three people were killed, four others wounded. Police later found the suspect dead in the salon of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. That suspect identified as Radcliffe Haughton was the estranged husband of one of the salon's employees.
Police Chief Dan Tushaus says, "We believe this incident is domestic violence related."
According to police, a four year restraining order had been granted against haughton just days ago.
"The investigation is ongoing, and progress is in its infancy, " says Chief Tushaus.
Dozens of officers from local agencies and the FBI look over the crime scene and the suspect's home for answers as friends and family of those killed and wounded search for reasons why.
