Names Released in Lakes County Shooting

Authorities released the names of a man and woman who were involved in an attempted murder-suicide in the town of Bertha, Minnesota on Friday.

Todd County Sheriff's investigators believe that 39-year-old Eric Steven Grewe, of Bertha, shot his significant other and then shot himself.

Grewe died, but Angela Rose Templin survived and was taken to a Wadena Hospital, and then flown to a Hennepin County medical center. The condition of the 31-year-old woman is not yet known.

The Sheriff's office and Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating the incident.

One person is dead and another hurt after a shooting in lakes country. Authorities in Central Minnesota say a man apparently shot his significant other before shooting and killing himself.

Todd County authorities responded Friday evening to reports of shots fired in Bertha. One person was injured and the suspected gunman is dead. The victim was taken to a Wadena hospital and later air lifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center.
