Experts say now is the time to get your kids flu vaccines. A new study from the Centers for Disease Control shows kids are particularly susceptible to influenza. The analysis of flu cases in kids spanned the 2004 through 2012 flu seasons. Researchers say that during that time nearly half of the children who died from the flu had no underlying health conditions. The study also found schools that provided flu vaccinations had lower rates of the flu and higher attendance.
