Meningitis Fungus Found in Unopened Vials - Valley News Live - KVLY/KXJB - Fargo/Grand Forks

In tonight's HealthierMe, an update on that ever-growing fungal meningitis outbreak. Health officials confirm the fungus behind the outbreak has also been found in unopened vials of steroid medication. FDA officials say the fungus was found in vials made in August by the New England Compounding Center in Massachusetts. 

The specialty pharmacy has been at the center of a national investigation into more than 250 fungal meningitis cases and at least 20 deaths.
