Man Badly Burned After Trying to Put Out Tractor Fire

A man is in critical condition, suffering severe burns after his tractor started on fire late Saturday afternoon. 

The 87-year-old was burning some land a couple miles north of Litchville, North Dakota when his tractor started on fire.

He was trying to put it out when he caught on fire. The man was lifeflighted to a Minneapolis burn unit.

His name is not being released. The fire is under investigation.
