A recent survey found that 9 out of 10 shoppers make impulse purchases while at the grocery store... which is why marketers put all those yummy treats at the checkout counter. The survey revealed that the average American woman eats over 14,000 calories a year in impulse purchases alone, while men consume a whopping 28,000 extra calories!
