One Killed in Head-on Crash

A woman has died after a head-on crash in Marshal County Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol crash report, the crash happened around 8:20 Tuesday night.

A Chevy GMT 400 pickup was heading south on Highway 59 at 270th Street and a Buick Lasabre was going north on Highway 59 when the Lasabre crossed the center line and hit the pickup head-on.

The passenger in the pickup, Jodi J. Larson, 40, of Thief River Falls, Minnesota was killed in the crash. The driver, Brian Larson, 41, also of Thief River Falls was taken to a Sanford hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Buick Lasabre, Alanna Tureson, 22, of Karlstad, Minnesota was air-lifted to Sanford Health in Fargo and is listed in critical condition. The passenger in that vehicle was 21-year-old Andrea Tureson of Thief River Falls. Andrea Tureson was treated and released at a hospital for minor injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
