Juvenile in Custody after Gun Incident

Posted: Updated:

Police have a fifteen year old boy in custody following a report of a burglary in a South Fargo home.

They say the boy fits the description of a person who, just minutes before, held a gun to a man's head and demanded he take him to a liquor store and buy him liquor. The man drove the boy to the Bottle Barn on South University Avenue. Police say the man went in and told store employees to call police.

That's when police say a second call came in, reporting the burglary of a nearby home. They arrested the boy near that scene, and while they say he fits the description in the first incident, they won't say whether they found a gun on him. They're not specifying whether the suspect in the first case would be charged potentially with kidnapping.
