Arrested twice in week on drug charges

Posted: Updated:

Authorities say a Bismarck man was arrested twice last week on drug charges. The Bismarck Tribune reports (bit.ly/QpPyLT) 39-year-old Anthony Lamar Henderson was arrested after a traffic stop on Tuesday. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it confiscated drugs and cash.

He was charged Wednesday with three misdemeanors and felony possession of hydrocodone with intent to deliver. He was released after another person posted a $10,000 cash bond for him.

Police say they got a tip that Henderson had been going to a storage unit bringing people into the closet-sized unit with him. Officers found Henderson at the unit with a female. Because Henderson is on probation, police searched his car and found more illegal drugs.

His bond was set Friday at $50,000 cash.
