SUV Crashes into GF Taco John's

Grand Forks police are looking into what caused a car to drive into a taco johns early Thursday morning.  The Grand Forks Police Department responded to a car crash at Taco John's on South Washington Street just before 2:00 a.m.

A 2002 Chevy Tahoe driven by Andre Witt, 30, from Chicago was traveling North on South Washington Street when he lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into the West side of the Taco John's building. The crash caused damage to one large window on the restaurant.

The passenger in the SUV was Chad Zursluh, 23, from Iowa.

Witt and Zursluh were both transported to Altru Hospital. Zursluh has already been released, but the condition of Witt is unknown at this time.

The Grand Forks Police Department was assisted by the Altru paramedics and the Grand Forks Fire department. If anyone has any information about this crash, please call (701) 787-8000
