North Dakota State University Director of Athletics Gene Taylor announced today all 11 regular season football games will be televised for the first-time in school history. Taylor also stated NDSU has reached a three-year contract extension with Hoak Media that includes 10 games on KVLY-TV (NBC, Channel 11, Fargo) this season including North Dakota NBC Network coverage of the Sept. 8 matchup against Colorado State in Fort Collins.

"We are very pleased that we have a new three-year agreement with Hoak Media. They have really increased their coverage of our program," said Taylor.

"This year is extremely impressive with nine of our games, home and away, being on statewide television including a comprehensive pregame show. Our relationship continues to grow and expand which is beneficial to our fans and the program," Taylor said.

Nine of the 10 games will be available on the North Dakota NBC Network (KVLY-TV/Fargo, KFYR-TV/Channel 5/Bismarck, KMOT-TV/Channel 10/Minot, KQCD-TV/Channel 7/Dickinson, KUMV-TV/Channel 8/Williston) including six broadcasts that will also be made available nationally, twice on Fox College Sports, and four times on ESPN3.

"Valley News Live and the North Dakota NBC Network are proud and excited to be the statewide home of the Bison for the next three years. This year's schedule, including pregame shows means every home in the state will have access to what promises to be another exciting year for NDSU football," said Jim Wareham, President and General Manager of KVLY/KXJB.

Each game will feature a 30-minute pregame show which will air statewide. The pregame show will be anchored from the KVLY-TV studios and will include live updates from the game site.

"The Craig Bohl Football Show" will air on KXJB-TV (CBS, Channel 4) in Fargo and all North Dakota NBC affiliates live at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings with replays on KVLY-TV after the late local news and then again on Midco Sports Network at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays. The show will be hosted for the second year by NDSU Director of Athletic Sales and Broadcasting Jeremy Jorgenson.

The KVLY-TV broadcast team includes former Valley News Live weekend sports anchor Brian Shawn, who will handle the play-by-play. He will be joined in the booth by KFYR-TV sports director Lee Timmerman and former Bison quarterback Kevin Feeney, while former Stanford University quarterback and Fargo native Chris Berg will work from the sideline.

The NDSU-Youngstown State contest Oct. 6 in the Fargodome is the featured Missouri Valley Football Conference Game of the Week. Midco Sports Network will broadcast the Oct. 20 game against South Dakota in Sioux Falls.
