Jemison Kicked Off Bison Football Team

The defending national champion Bison football team will be without a familiar name on defense this season.

NDSU Head Coach Craig Bohl announced Thursday morning that linebacker Brandon Jemison has been dismissed from the team for a rules violation.

A news release from the Bison Athletic Department did not explain what rule Jemison broke.

Valley News Live spoke with Fargo Police Lt. Joel Vettel Thursday morning he says there is an ongoing investigation involving Jemison, but that he could not comment further.

Jemison, a senior, had played in all 40 games of his career including 27 starts.  He was a graduate of Fargo South High School.

North Dakota State University head football coach Craig Bohl announced today that linebacker Brandon Jemison has been dismissed from the team for violation of team rules.

Jemison, a 6-foot-1, 217-pound senior from Fargo, N.D. (South H.S.), played in all 40 games during his first three years including 27 starts. He had 185 tackles in his career including 91 solos, nine tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.
