The Minnesota State Patrol says alcohol was likely a factor in a head-on crash on Highway 10 west of Lake Park early Sunday.  The driver of a car was eastbound when an S-U-V turned off a county road onto the east bound lane.

The driver of the car attempted to swerve into the median but was unable to avoid the collision. The driver of the s-u-v,  Blossom Chwialkowski, 50, of Hawley is hospitalized in Detroit Lakes with non-life threatening injuries.  The Patrol says there was alcohol in her system.   The two people in the car, both from England, were treated for minor injuries.
