Man Enters West Fargo Home, Jumps In Bed w/Girl

Posted: Updated:

A close call for a West Fargo girl early this morning (Saturday). Around 2 A.M. Michael Pedersen (24) of West Fargo entered a home on the 200 block of 1st Street. Police say he went through an unlocked door and jumped into bed with a girl. Other people in the house were able to get Pedersen outside. Police found him a half a block away from the home walking and arrested him. Todd Pearson with the West Fargo Police Department says, "By leaving your doors unlocked your vehicles unlocked there's potential of all sorts of crimes. In this case we're fortunate no one got hurt, I can't say that about possibly the next case so we ask residents to secure your home by locking those doors and windows." West Fargo Police say they see an increase in crimes like this every summer as more people go out of town and leave their homes unlocked. Pedersen is being held at the Cass County Jail. He faces Felony Criminal Trespass charges.
