Stephanie Reiter Named Director

Stephanie Reiter has been named women's basketball director of operations at North Dakota State University. NDSU head women's basketball coach Carolyn DeHoff made the announcement today.

 

"Our coaching staff is thrilled with the addition of Steph (Reiter).Her background in graphics design along with her extensive work with camps, film exchange/breakdown, and team travel will make her transition seamless," said DeHoff, who is preparing for her fifth season at North Dakota State.

"The director of operations role is vital to our program and Steph will do an outstanding job for us."

A native of Coon Rapids, Minn., Reiter worked for University of Sioux Falls, alongside with new NDSU assistant coach Tom Goehle, the past two seasons as a graduate assistant. Her responsibilities included film exchange, preliminary breakdown of scout, monitoring academic success of student-athletes, coaching junior varsity squad, and assisting in practice and game preparation.

 Prior to her graduate assistant position at USF, Reiter spent one season at NCAA Division II Upper Iowa University, where she served as an assistant women's basketball coach. She was the recruiting coordinator for the Midwest region, academic supervisor, and handled other coaching duties while at UIU.

Reiter earned her master's degree in business administration from USF in May 2012, and her bachelor's degree in graphic design with an arts in media minor in from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2009. She was honored on the dean's list every semester while at UMD. Reiter was a four-year letter winner, a member of the Academic all-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference team and team captain for the Bulldog's basketball team. While attending UMD, Reiter also assisted in the Minnesota Metro Stars Basketball Organization and worked regional basketball camps as a coach.
