UPDATE:

A woman who has been missing from Valley City has made contact with her family. Mark McDonald of the Valley City Police Department says Amber Glatt called her mother Monday night from Arizona.

She said she had a flat tire and was picked up by a passing family in the Grand Canyon National Park. McDonald says family and friends say she is safe, but Valley City Police have not made contact with her. Park Rangers at the Grand Canyon are also still trying to locate Glatt.

Her boyfriend reported her missing, and friends and family were worried because glatt suffers from reoccurring amnesia.

The Valley City Police Department is looking for your help finding a missing woman. Amber Glatt was reported missing Wednesday by her boyfriend.

She's 22-years-old and is 5'4" tall and 96 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. Police are concerned because Amber suffers from recurring amnesia, with episodes lasting up to six weeks.

She may be driving a silver Mitsubishi Lancer with the rear drivers side window broken out. It has Virginia plates XFK 1538.
