"War Birds" Land in Fargo

The Texas Flying Legends have landed at the Fargo Air Museum. Starting today through Sunday you'll be able to see some of the worlds rarest aircraft on display.

FLYING WARBIRDS at FARGO AIR MUSEUM

The Fargo Air Museum will host the Texas Flying Legends Warbirds June 20-24, 2012.  The WWII flying aircraft will include one of two flying Japanese Zero's in the word, "Dakota Kid II – a P-51D Mustang,  the "Aleutian Tiger" a P-40K Warhawk.  "Little Horse" P-51D Mustang,  B-25J "Betty's Dream" and the Goodyear FG -1D Corsair.  The living history aircraft serve as a traveling museum to inspire the young and honor those veterans who have served.  The Texas Flying Legends Museum are based out of Ellington Field in Houston, Texas. 

The Fargo Air Museum will offer special hours from 9 am to 5 pm to exhibit the six special WWII aircraft, . Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for Seniors/Military and $5 for children 5 to 11 years of age.  For additional information, please visit www.fargoairmuseu.org.
