ND airports getting $10.6 million in grants

Airports across North Dakota are sharing in federal grants totaling nearly $10.6 million.

North Dakota's congressional delegation says the money awarded through the federal Transportation Department is for infrastructure projects. More than a dozen airports are getting grants.

The largest grants are $2.9 million for Hector International Airport in Fargo and $2.5 million for Bismarck's municipal airport.

Other airports getting money are in Dickinson, Valley City, Edgeley, Cavalier, Washburn, Mott, Grafton, Kenmare, Glen Ullin, Bottineau and Garrison. The state also is getting a $600,000 grant.
