Police find Ladder Leading to North High Roof

Posted: Updated:

Fargo Police aren't sure if it was a prank in the making or something worse; Officers surrounded Fargo North High School around 3:00 Thursday morning, after spotting suspicious activity near the building.

A man with a backpack took off running after being spotted outside by a police officer and private security guard.  Authorities found a ladder leading up to the roof, but a sweep of the school didn't turn up anyone or anything out of the ordinary.

Thursday is the last day of school and security is stepped up this time of year because of past pranks.
