On May 27th, 2012 at approximately 7:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to an injury accident at Demers Avenue and North Washington Street.

The crash involved a motorcycle that was traveling southbound on North Washington Street and was attempting to turn and go westbound on Demers Avenue.  Statements from witnesses and investigation of the accident determined that the driver of the motorcycle lost control and struck a cement curb which then  ejected  him off his motorcycle.
