Mothers Day Gift Ideas

Posted: Updated:

With mothers day just days away. The Valley Today's John Trierweiler spent the morning with Eric Baker at Baker Garden and Gifts getting prepared.

The US Census Bureau estimates there are over 85 million moms in the United States and according to the National Retail Federation Americans will spend over $18 billion on gifts for mom this year. That's $12 more per person than last year.

Baker says there are some new and unique gift trends in the garden world that may make great gifts for mom. They include: planting functional herbs, creative pots for planting, rustic garden artwork, even furniture for your garden.

Flowers make up 69% of gifts given to mom on mothers day.
