Cleanup Week Begins

Posted: Updated:

It's that time of the year again, when you can put out almost anything and have it taken away for free. There are however a few rules to follow.

Items that will be collected include:

Logs and Brush, up to 10" diameter, tires and rims, small propane tanks if valves removed, other household garbage and unwanted items.

Items that crews will not pick up include:

Wood, building materials, concrete, electronics including TV's and computers. Paint's, varnishes, oils and other Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) will not be picked up but can be dropped off Fargo's HHW building located at 606 43 1/2 St. N.

All garbage should be set out before 7am on your regular scheduled pick up day, crews will throw away any container that is not a garbage can. Appliances can be thrown out but there is limit of two per household.

Scavengers or pickers are welcome to collect items they see, but are reminded to not make a mess of the piles.
