Police Pursuing Leads in GF Robbery

Grand Forks Police say they are working on a handful of good leads in a robbery at a Grand Forks Trailer Park, but they say no one is under arrest. 

Earlier, one of the robbery victims told Valley News Live at least one suspect had been arrested. 

Carmen and Sherman Jones were attacked by 3 suspects, who broke into their trailer home at 5:40 Monday morning, demanding cash and drugs.

The couple sustained injuries from being struck with clubs. One of their pet dogs was killed.

Grand Forks police are looking for three men who broke into a home and assaulted the owner.  Police say the men broke into a home in the Valley Ho Trailer Court around 5:30 a.m. and demanded drugs and money.  Police say the men appeared to be armed with blunt objects.  The three threatened the homeowners, Carmen and Sherman Jones.  The men struck Sherman Jones and a dog.  The dog died.  Jones was taken to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Grand Forks Police descriptions of the three men involved:

Two of three were approximately 6' tall and of average build, possibly in their late 20's, with dark hair. The third appeared to be in his mid to late teens, approximately 5'8" tall, of slim build, with blonde hair.
