Six seniors on the North Dakota State University football team have worked out for professional scouts.
Representatives of 7 NFL teams came to the Fargodome on Wednesday. They measured, timed and evaluated running back D.J. McNorton, tight end Matt Veldman, free safety John Pike, defensive end Coulter Boyer, kicker Ryan Jastram and free safety Daniel Eaves.
Some of the players including Veldman did specialized drills, such as catching passes. Veldman says he's dreamed his whole life of playing in the NFL and feels blessed to get the opportunity to work out for scouts.
