Posted: Updated:

It could be the biggest game of the year. The Bison will take on the University of Northern Iowa. The Bison are undefeated seven games into the season, but tomorrow comes with a lot of pressure. Since they've joined the Missouri Valley Conference, they've never had a win against this team, and fans are ready to see a victory happen.

"A lot of people are talking about it and getting ready. They're getting psyched and a lot of people are talking about it," says Bison fan, Bryton Jorgensen.

There's a buzz around NDSU's campus.

"Nothing compares to it around here. Everybody's walking around and you can see people. It's just, it's so much fun," says bison fan Quinne Goodwin-Chaffee.

People are setting up for tomorrow's tailgating where thousands of fans will be getting ready to see the Bison take on the University of Northern Iowa.

It's a sold out game that could be record breaking for football attendance.

"it's just a big game it's a huge rivalry," says Jorgensen.

It's a match up so tense that two years ago the teams snapped and this happened. But Saturday's game could have even more aggression, because whoever falls will get their first loss of the season and the winner will be in the drivers seat for the conference. With all the on the line, the Dome is preparing for fans who cross the line.

"We've added a couple staff on in certain areas knowing that with what's on the line and what those team's are playing for there may be a little more tension or excitement surrounding it," says Fargodome General Manager, Rob Sobolik.

And as they anticipate a victory, people on campus getting ready and gearing up.

"A lot of people are pumped. Today, a lot of people are going into the bookstore and getting some Bison apparel," says Jorgensen.
