UPDATE, Monday 10:47 AM:

Fargo police say they have released the man held for questioning in the stabbing death of Tremaine Lynn Settles. They do not anticipate filing any charges against the man released.

UPDATE, Monday 10:40 AM:

The deceased male who was stabbed on Sunday, September 11 in Fargo, has been identified as Tremaine Lynn Settles (28). Settles, who has no permanent address, was pronounced dead at the scene of 2608 Pacific Drive South at approximately 2 a.m.   

Sunday AM Update: Sgt. Joel Vettel told Valley News Live Sunday morning that no arrest is anticipated today.

Police have not released the name of the dead man.  Neighbors told VNL's Eric Crest that people that the family that lives at the house where the incident occurred had not lived there very long.  The dead man did not live at the home, but may have been in a relationship with someone who did.

FARGO, N.D. (September 11, 2011) – On Sunday, September 11 at approximately 1:38AM., Officers of the Fargo Police Department responded to a 911 call of a two males fighting. When officers arrived at 2608 Pacific Drive South they found a 28 year old male with an injury to his torso area. The injury appeared to be a stab wound caused by a knife.  The male was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.  

 Officers did detain one male for questioning and the incident is currently under investigation.  The two males appear to have known each other prior to the incident.
