FARGO, N.D. When the doors opened, the crowds poured in. You only get one chance to check out Northern Folk Pop-Up Shop. It's a first of its kind American-made pop-up shop right in downtown Fargo at Ecce Art Gallery.
With 12 vendors, Drekker’s craft beer and a coffee bar, there's a little something for every shopper. It’s an effort to try to bring American-made products into the city area...all quality made from hand.
This journey has been a risk for event organizer, Adam Grahek. He told us; alone he has put in nearly $2,000 from his own wallet, all to make today happen.
"We really had no idea if anybody would show up,” said Grahek. “So, this is an idea that's kind of been brewing for a number of months and we've invested a good amount of our time and dollars into it with no promise or return of any type."
Grahek is calling today a “success” if he breaks even and hopefully looking to open a permanent shop in the downtown area.
A drawing for one grand prize will be pulled tonight at seven and doors close at eight.
