We don't always think of golf as an active sport, more riding around on carts and drinking beer.
And while we're not saying you can't use a cart and enjoy a beverage.
In this week's Valley Today Golf Lesson Rose Creek Head Pro Matt Cook says less standing and more action before your swing could really help improve your game.
How many of you get over the golf ball and just feel all tense and bound up and just can't even hardly pull the club back.
Matt says one way to fix that is to try to make golf become a more reactive sport like other sports you watch.
He suggests getting yourself into a pre-shot routine where you pick your target from behind the ball, walk on in, and hit it.
