Mechanical Failure Brings Down Fargo Sports Bubble

View Map

Bubble Bob is coming to town and he has some fixing to do. Bubble Bob is the guy who will fix the Sports Bubble in Fargo. It has a hole in it and now looks more like a mat than a bubble.

Jeff Olson owns the popular golf and recreation spot in south Fargo, and says a mechanical problem and power failure brought the bubble down.

Olson says until that hole gets fixed, he will be operating on limited hours. You can go from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 on Saturday, and noon to 4:00 Sunday.

Three simulators are still working. Olson figures it will probably be two weeks before the bubble will again be fully inflated. This isn't the first time the bubble has burst. About 10 years ago a strong thunderstorm brought it down.
