Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in Mahnomen County.
The Mahnomen County Sheriff's office confirms the body was found just before 6 p.m. Thursday in the town of Naytahwaush, Minnesota. It's been sent to the coroner in Grand Forks for positive identification and cause of death.
The Mahnomen County Sheriff's office is planning a Noon news conference Friday to share details of the investigation.
Officials are not saying if the body is that of 31-year-old Francis Brown, who's been missing for about two weeks. Brown was headed to his brother's home in Mahnomen when he disappeared. His car was found in a wooded area of Naytahwaush.
