Surveillance pictures released in Moorhead armed robbery

MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) - UPDATE:

Moorhead Police are looking for a man who robbed the Casey's General Store in south Moorhead around 5 a.m. Monday.

Officers determined three people detained near the area shortly after the hold-up were not involved in the robbery.

Police are looking a man who's either white or Hispanic, who was wearing a white sweatshirt and grey sweatpants at the time of the robbery.

Officers do confirm that the robber had a weapon and got away with cash.

Moorhead Police have detained three people after a report of an armed robbery at a convenience store early Monday morning, but it's not clear yet if they are the suspects involved the hold-up.

The call came in around 5:30 a.m. from Casey's General Store at 1702 30th Avenue South.

Early reports suggested the robber had a weapon and fled on foot.

A police K9 team was called in immediately to track a scent.

ORIGINAL STORY: Moorhead Police are on the way to a south side convenience store on the report of an armed robbery.

The call came in just after 5:30 a.m. Monday from Casey's General Store at 1702 30th Avenue South.

We are hearing reports the suspect had a weapon and that he fled on foot.
