CHENEY, Wash. (Valley News Live) -- Junior running back Lance Dunn scored three touchdowns as North Dakota State put up 532 yards of total offense while limiting the Eagles to just 204 total yards en route to a 40-13 win Saturday at Roos Field in Cheney, WA.
Bison quarterback Easton Stick went 13-20 passing for 157 yards.
Junior running back Bruce Anderson led the Bison in rushing with 160 yards on 23 carries. He added a touchdown.
The Bison were without fifth-year senior linebacker Nick DeLuca who injured his knee in the days leading up to the game. Senior linebacker Chris Board led the Bison in tackles with five. Junior Safety Robbie Grimsley picked off Gage Gubrud twice for his first two interceptions on the year.
The Bison held the Eagles to just 54 offensive plays and took and held the ball for 42:40.
North Dakota State will take a week off before returning to the Fargodome on September 23 against Robert Morris.
