BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (Valley News Live) -- It's a major week for Minneapolis, Minn. as crowds flock to the city for not just Super Bowl LII on Sunday but a full week of events and celebration.

In hopes of making everyone feel welcome, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and his staff released a video this week.

A peaceful video with upbeat music and beautiful scenery shots is paired with a script that explains a few of things about Minnesota. What makes it special and unique and so loved by the residence.

Frey finishes the script welcoming the fans of the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. Teasing Eagles fans that they will grease the light poles to make them feel more at home.

Jabbing at the scene of chaos from last week when the Eagles defeated the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship in Philadelphia.

The video dips to black and just when you may be thinking 'why did I watch this?'

You realize it was absolutely worth watching till the end.
