FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- The Bison were without Nick DeLuca Saturday at Eastern Washington after the fifth-year senior suffered a non-ACL knee injury late last week.
Bison Head Coach Chris Klieman said Monday that DeLuca underwent a "procedure" Monday but didn't have any other details on how it went or what was worked on.
Klieman was also uncertain about the timetable for DeLuca to return to the field.
When asked during his weekly press conference Mondayabout what exactly the injury is, Klieman responded by saying he didn't know specifics.
"I'm not going to say anything until I know for sure. So it's not fair for me to say anything when I don't know for sure."
DeLuca missed all but three games in 2016 with a shoulder injury. The injury to his knee came late last week. DeLuca made the trip to Eastern Washington and warmed up in full pads but did not play in the game.
