Colorado Stampedes Past NDSU Women’s Basketball

BOULDER, Colo. (NDSU Athletics) – The University of Colorado Buffaloes stampeded past the North Dakota State University women's basketball team, 108-59, Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Coors Events Center.

The Bison fall to 5-2 on the season with the loss, while the Buffs improve to 6-1 overall.

Senior Taylor Thunstedt scored 13 points to lead NDSU, while sophomore Rylee Nudell added 10 points. Freshman Danneka Voegeli pulled down five rebounds, leading the Bison on the glass.

North Dakota State shot just 25 percent from the floor and 27 percent from three-point range in the contest, and was outrebounded, 60-33.

Janea Bunn posted a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds, leading five Colorado players in double figures.

For the game, the Buffs shot 60 percent from the field and outscored the Bison in the paint, 76-12.

NDSU is scheduled to travel to Milwaukee, Wis., for a game against the Milwaukee Panthers Friday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m.
